Todays Feature: The Carp Holiday at Linear Fisheries - The Preparation In the next few weeks myself - The Crap Angler, Dan - "Not John Wilson" and Simon - "Not Des Taylor" plan on fishing Linear Fisheries for 2 nights. This really will be a good laugh and I'm sure it will result in a fair few stories which will be incorporated into a few articles and even a bivvy review! Hopefully we'll also catch some carp too. This carp fishing expedition really will prove interesting as if there is one thing in life that I really hate it is camping! I have bought a brand new 1 Man JRC Defender STI bivvy with wrap and will review it after the Linear Fisheries trip. Bear in mind that I hate camping when you read it! The other issue will be that I don't know how long I can live without broadband for! In the weeks leading up to our trip the excitement has been building, Dan keep reminding me that he has just spent, "£130 on particles" to which I keep responding by saying that I will continue to use boilies. However, with Dan buying particles this presumably means that the Spod God will return and hopefully this spodding session will be more accurate than the last time Dan taught us how to spod. I have even ordered some Mainline Frozen boilies, so lets hope they are as good as what everyone says about them. I'm guessing that most of Simon's money will be spent on new line after our recent evening session which resulted in a quite a lot of lost tackle! |
